Embedding is a fundamental principle in iRemember. All photos and clip art are embedded inside an object. The enclosing object provides clipping and layering relative to other objects on the page. Most page layout programs provide one or two basic shapes (usually referred to as “frames”), but iRemember's Tool Palette contains thirteen different shapes.
In its simplest terms, embedding means to put any Supported Image File Type inside an iRemember object
(Rectangle,
Oval, or
Shape).
The easiest way to embed a photo is to drag and drop it directly into the object.
The object will highlight when it is ready to receive the file.
You can drag from the desktop, a folder or other applications (like iPhoto).
The photo is automatically sized to fit the object while maintaining its original proportions.
To refine the size and orientation of your photo relative to its containing object, use the controls in the Inspector's Image Tab.
After resizing, you may use the Grabber Tool to reposition the photo within the object.
To change the border around the exterior of the object use the Inspector's Shape Tab.
The picture below illustrates dragging a photo from iPhoto to the object labeled “Drag Photo Here”.

Alternately, if the object you wish to contain the photo is selected, you may drag and drop into the Inspector's Image Tab.
The Inspector always displays the current attributes of the selected object.
The next picture illustrates dragging from the Finder to the “Image Well” of the Inspector's Image Tab with the same object selected.
Finally, with an object selected you may use the Insert… command to select a file using a standard file dialog.
Embedding clip art works in the same manner as embedding a photo.
Locate the desired clip art in the iRemember ClipArt application window then drag and drop to the object.
The picture below illustrates dragging the “snow man” clip art and dropping it into a rectangle.
