| Inspector Window: Image Tab |
In the Inspector Window below, the “Image” tab is selected. The presented features only apply to Rectangle, Oval, and Shape objects. (The objects which may contain an embedded image.) You can see the results of applying settings to the selected object in the Inspector Window as changes are made.
Embedding an Image
To activate this feature you must first embed an image within selected objects. Drag and drop an image directly on a single object, or drag into the well labeled “Drag Image Here” to add an image to multiple selected objects at the same time. Refer to Embedding Images and Patterns into Objects for additional information. Refer to Using Clip Art and Templates for more detail on iRemember provided images. Use any supported image file type for embeding images into the selected object.

In the example above an image has been dropped into the image well. This is reflected in the selected Oval object.
Scaling An Image
The scale has been set to 40% in order to zoom the image within the object. Notice that the photo's time and date stamp have been cropped from the resulting object. Scaling and positioning an embedded image is an effective way to crop undesireable portions of a photo. Once the image is scaled to the desired size, use the Grabber Hand to position the image within the object.
Rotating an Image
The image has been rotated 9 degrees. Photographs are often slightly skewed. Rotating the image within its shape allows you to compensate for photos that do not share the same horizon.

Opacity
A layer's opacity determines to what degree it obscures or reveals the layer beneath it. A layer with 1% opacity appears nearly transparent, while one with 100% opacity appears completely opaque. The top image above has an opacity of 100%. The bottom image has an opacity of 70%. Observe how the white layer beneath it starts to show through. The above example could be used as a background by using the fit to page command.
