Miscellaneous - using gradients:
Gradients can be used to produce effects. In the example below, we use a gradient to focus the viewers attention on our subject while fading out other portions of the page.
The steps to produce this effect are as follows:
- Create a rectangle object.
- With the rectangle selected, choose Fit to Page from the Arrange menu.
- Using the Fill Tab of the
Inspector, turn OFF the solid white fill color the object receives by default.
- Use iRemember ClipArt, to select a gradient.

Embed
the selected gradient in the rectangle by dragging and dropping to the “image well” in the
Image Tab of the
Inspector.
- Reduce the opacity to the desired level.
