The Line tool allows you to create Line objects.

Select the line in the Tools palette, which will change the cursor to a “+”. Mouse click in the desired location on the active scrapbook page and drag to create a Line object of the desired length.

Use the Inspector Window to change the stroke (line thickness, color, type, etc.).

To take advantage of the grid capabilities to precisely align a Line object, here is a summary of grid commands:

• Use the Show/Hide Grid command to show and hide the grid.

• Use the Snap to Grid command to turn on and off the snap to grid feature.

• Use the Align to Grid command to align the object to the grid.

• Use the Grid Settings… command to change the grid spacing and color.
