Selecting “Hide Grid” from the View menu hides the grid on all pages of the active scrapbook. Below is an example of a scrapbook with the grid turned off.

If there are multiple scrapbooks open, the active scrapbook is the forward most scrapbook and is the only scrapbook that does not have its name grayed out at the top of the scrapbook window.

You can have newly created or moved objects automatically snap to grid or align selected objects to it. You can also adjust Grid Settings..., such as color or spacing.
